complete and full service orchestral stringed instrument shop, offering

Job Summary:
Keller Strings is seeking an experienced orchestral stringed
instrument repair person. This position requires autonomy, communication, and
stringed instrument repair skills and is part of the team working toward our
common goal. Excellent customer service in the area of sales and rental and is
required of all Keller Strings employees. This position is responsible for performing
set-up and repair of instruments and bows, and communicating the repair
schedule.
Position Description:
Primary tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Set up and repair of all Orchestral Stringed Instruments including Bow rehair and
repair. Apprentice will work autonomously and under the guidance of shop owners
to ensure that rental and customer instruments are set up correctly and are tonally
and aesthetically pleasing. We support all levels of instruments from beginner
through professional. Includes a willingness to provide exceptional customer
service, and a desire to sell.
Minimum Requirements
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Graduate of a maker or repair school and/or shop experience.
Be Punctual, Responsible, Accountable.
Be able to work Tuesday-Saturday.
Pay Structure:
Hourly Wage Commensurate with Experience and Skill.
Flexible Hours: 20-28 hours per week.
