20th Century Russian Cello by L. Morozov

Description

20th Century Russian Cello by L. Morozov

A rare yet marvelous example of a fine vintage cello. Crafted in Moscow nearly a century ago in 1937 by L. Morozov, this cello is crafted from exceptional quality tonewoods. Though Morozov is known primarily for his violins and violas, a cello by his capable artisan hands is an exceptional find.

This cello has resonance and volume that can easily fill a concert hall by itself. Well maintained and in beautiful playing condition, the antiquity adds to the quality of the sound it produces. Setup includes a Josef Teller Belgium bridge, Akusticus tailpiece, Pirastro Permanent A and D strings, and Larsen Magnacore G and C strings.
