Ernst Heinrich Roth Violin 1962 (West) Germany

Ernst Heinrich Roth 4/4 Violin made in 1962. Bubenreuth in what used to be West Germany at the time.

This violin is in nice condition and is highlighted by its beautiful Reddish Amber varnish.  The top is of book-matched fine grained spruce with the back, ribs, neck, and scroll being of beautiful, flamed maple. The Thomastik Rondo strings are a perfect match for this violin and bring the instrument to life with a resonance that will please the most refined ear. Ebony tailpeice, new ebony pegs, and chinrest.  The peg holes have been bushed as the violin most likely had Caspari  rosewood pegs originally.

There are no cracks or scratches in this violin as it is in almost perfect condition. The two lower top corners show a little wear.
