Yamaha AV20 Violin is a fully hand carved instrument. The spruce top, maple back, neck, and sides were all seasoned and aged for 5 plus years. The wood is finished with a reddish gold shading and hand-applied oil varnish. It is set up with an Aubert bridge and strung with Thomastik Infeld Dominant’s, a favorite among students, teachers, and professionals alike! It has all ebony fittings which include the pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece, chin rest, and end button. On top of that, it comes with a Yamaha oblong cordura-covered case (black exterior, wine red interior) with backpack-style shoulder straps, and a quality Brazilwood bow. This is a perfect instrument for the intermediate level student!
