W Seifert Octagonal Violin Bow 130

A beautiful and well balanced German bow made from pernambuco, and weighs 60 grams. It features a leather grip and silver winding, an ebony frog with a very subtly beautiful mother of pearl eye, and a three part silver button. Wood from the Seifert workshop has been aged and dried for about 20 years, resulting in high quality, well balanced bows.

About Seifert Bows:

The Seifert bow workshop was founded in 1932 by Oskar Seifert. Now in the second and third generations, Lothar Seifert and his sons are leading their workshop, making bows in small quantities by hand. Only using wood that has dried in their shop for at least 20 years, the resulting bows offer professional-level characteristics. Seifert bows have been played, appreciated, and collected by serious musicians for decades.
